I have a pretty good understanding of the EI method, how it works, CO2, lights, and all that, I really just need to know if these are ALL of the fertilizers I need to buy:
KNO3 - Potassium Nitrate - Macro
http://www.aquariumfertilizer.com/i...rnEdit=2&Returnitemname=&ReturnShowItemStart=
KH2PO4 - Mono Potassium Phosphate - Macro
http://www.aquariumfertilizer.com/i...rnEdit=2&Returnitemname=&ReturnShowItemStart=
Plantex CSM+B - Micro
http://www.aquariumfertilizer.com/i...rnEdit=2&Returnitemname=&ReturnShowItemStart=
It's my understanding that those are the only fertilizers required for EI dosing with dry fertilizers. Is that right?
My other question is about dosing them, can they be dropped into the tank in their dry form, or should they be mixed with water first. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to either method?
Thanks!
