New Goldfish Pond

I just finished a new pond. It's dry stacked blocks, liner, 6 by 14 feet, 2 1/2 feet deep. a little over 1600 gal. with filtration. 4" Koi toilet 2 bottom drain reduced to 3" feeding a settling/strapping bio tank. A Evolution ES 2500 pump takes suction from that and feeds a sand/gravel filter with one of my home made Savio UV adapters, then 30+ feet of 2" line running to the unfinished waterfall.
Since this is a "For Sale" pond for Sarassas, and Wakins, of course it will be severely over stocked, so the skimmer is only an overflow to waste as I will run a very small trickle flow through with well water.

I will sooo be picking your brains at the point I've convinced my hubby to let me build a pond; I've got the perfect spot, right outside my office window...

Just let me know how I can help. I have been designing and installing ponds for over 20 years. I specialize in do it yourself filtration. I can supply filter kits or show you how you can build all your own filtration for far less than commercial units and end up with a much better filter. I also sell what are some of the most efficient American made pumps available. And a full line of skimmers, UVs, Bottom Drains, what ever you need.

Here's another picture from a different angle. I am going to build another planter around this maple and a waterfall at this end.

Thanks, Steve- I'm going to start seriously working on him after I get my 90gal up and running... maybe sometime this summer I'll be able to take you up on that!

I finished the waterfall yesterday. It has one of the foldless drop in liners that I sell, complete with a built in spillway.
