Our Container Pond

I made this one last year too.
Used an old cookpot for the fireplace/campfire.
It's missing a leg so i shimmed it up with some stones lol.
Were really happy with it.
No fish in it because it's iron and the water turns orange LOL.
This is sitting beside our ground pond.

With no fish (since you cant have them in there) it is going to turn into a nice little mosquito factory. Good luck with that.

i had a pond before and i was getting plants and a pump one day, and when i looked in pond, there were like millions of little mosquito larvae swimming all around. I was shocked and poured a bottle of bleach in it and they all floated to the top.

The bleach killed everything in the pond with it though I'm sure...

I'd stock with gambusia (mosquito minnows), personally.

You could have just added some small guppies or other small fish, they would have made short work of the larvae.

Move to Central Oregon, we don't have mosquito's here, or flea's.
Like your container pond. Now that looks good.
