Default Our new pond (Lots of pictures!)

Put this bad boy in last year.
Digging was hard because of all the rock and hard clay and because sometimes I'm lazy.
I used an old air mattress bed as the liner.
Will try and post more pictures of how well it filled in, just gotta find them LOL.
I've still got to 'ground' the rocks and add more wood and whatnot.
Just ran out of steam lol. Fibro sucks.

Pretty nice.
i used an old pool liner for my pond.
only thing, do you have a filter on that bad boy?
it may be a small pond, but without a filter, your life is gonna be hell cleaning it out 2-3 times a year and still not having clear water.

about how many gallons is it?
or what are your dimensions?
length, width, avg. depth?

Lol, Ive never used a man made filter in my ponds.
I plant it heavilly, as long as about 1/3 of the surface is covered with plants the water stays nice and clear. The other plants keep the water nice and clean.

Occasionally I yank any dying vegetation out, but not too often to be a bother.
I dunno, maybe 6 ft long x 4 ft wide and 24 to 30 inches deep.
I never measured it, LOL.
