Thanks everyone who voted my pictures. And for all who entered the contest: it was a pleasure to see all the pictures, they are so beautiful and some of them are just pure breathtaking. I think the best part was to be able to give something back to the forum and get more pictures for the species database, but the gift certificate is a cool thing too.

Now that it is OK to post about the various entries, I couldn't help but notice the striking difference between the thumbs and close-ups on a number of the entries. What looked bland in the thumbnail was breathtaking up close. I had to look at each one blown up to make a fair comparison between them all.

I was pleased with the First place winner. A beautiful bud pearling a large bubble of O2... Doesn't that say it all for the PT? I hope to find some time to add to the data base, if some of my plants warrant the effort. Congrats to all the winners!
