Listen Im not bashing the site at all I go to a main thread that says photography contest to see some nice pics, which I did, gorgeous pics actually, but the thread is a year and nine months old! ITS THE VERY TOP THREAD ON THE FORUM it was a good thread and I was just saying that something that seemed to be so successful 21 months ago might be followed up on. No problem RyanG, and my apologies as well.
Welcome to the forum and thanks for clarifying.

It was brought to the top because someone revived this thread by posting asking about the plant etc.
If threads aren't bumped into the active section we would never easily know when someone posts.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but, I believe they're presently working/tweaking on the photo contest features of the forum.

Welcome to the site Ryan. You will find a tight knit family here that defends their home to the end as you have seen. These guys are tough !

I too thought your opening comments here a bit confusing Ryan but Im glad to read that it is all straightened out.

Ryan, it's called a 'bump', as Jinx explained. Check the reply dates, threads automatically jump to the top of a forum when replied to.
