Algae Grower

No, fluorescent light covers should work. There's barely any pressure in the reactors as the water is just passing thru them. The hardest part I can see to using those is finding pvc fittings for the end caps that would fit them perfectly. I use a gravel vac for my reactor and it works great.
I have the bubbles injected at the bottom as Im only using an eheim 2013 which doesnt produce very fast flow. I also have my reactor between the intake from the aquarium and the filter intake instead of between the filter output and the aquarium. I figured this would help any escaped bubbles disolve by getting chopped up by the filters impeller and/or getting trapped in the filter floss/sponges. -David
