Plant choice for nano - Any comments?

Im thinking of using these plants for my 2.1 gal nano - 20W CF

(I dont have any rocks right now, so they are just a crude guess, driftwood is a red moor root)

Numbers to drawing:

For mosswall (behind): (1/2)Vesicularia sp. ''Christmas''

For driftwood (Backside): (3) Microsorum pteropus ''Narrow''

Behind/rightside of driftwood: (4) Rotala rotundifolia

On Driftwood/stones: (5) Anubias barteri var. nana 'Petite'

Foreground/stones: (6) Hemianthus callitrichoides ''Cuba''

Any suggestions/comments:

Looks like you are off to a great start. I would suggest not going with the L. repens. IMHO The leaf size is too big for such a small tank. Also the growth rate is too fast. I personally would go with the "true" Rotala indica (ammania bonsai) and/or Lindernia sp 'indian'. Both have small leaf structure and both are slow growers. I would also stick to one type of moss, and I would go with the 'christmas'. Triming moss in the water column will only result with a mixed stand as all the tiny clipping will float around. Unless you plan on removing the wood and the moss wall to trim. Again maintenence issues IMHO.

Roy -> Thanks, I was also thinking about the Rotala rotundifolia (Indica).
About the moss: I didnt think about maintenence - but you maybe right. I dont really need two different kinds of moss, so im sticking with the "christmas".

Do not confuse the two plants...Rotala indica and rotundifolia. The plant I'm speaking of has been known in the hobby as Ammania bonsai. It has been confirmed from some that Ammania bonsai is really the "true" Rotala indica.
Do a seach on Ammania bonsai and you will see the plant i'm talking about.
