Betta Paradise

Here is my 10 gallon betta paradise.

It's home to my two new pairs of Betta smaragdina.

can we see a pic of the bettas?

looks like they would love it. its not the best tank aesthetically, but its more similar to their natural environment with few rooted plants and a bunch of floating foilage.

Most of the plants i have in their are rooted the only plant thats floating is the guppie grass.
But i like the look of natural looking tanks and this is my best tank so far.

Oh and here's some pics of the betta's.

Female.

they look very nice. its cool how they can live together, unlike splendens (when i bred them, it was a whole lot fo chasing and both ways too).

That looks really good. I like how it looks. It reminds me of the term "Ugly Beautiful". Its not as pleasing to the eye as most tanks are but at the same time in nature its not so neatly displayed as we make it which is what is beautiful about it. I been trying to do the same thing for my Gourami's but it always comes out to "Controlled" looking. What kind of leaf litter is that?

Nice looking tank, I thought of doing something along these lines with a 10 that I have laying around. I need to round up some more wood first and figure out what I can do with a low light/no CO2 setup. Most of my homework lately has been high light/pressurized CO2 w/ferts.
