90cm - Without Boundaries

I wanted to share this layout as I am finally going to move on from it. The layout is a year and a half old, so the original layout idea is long gone. As you can see it is such a jungle, that any layout is almost impossible It is certainly proof that the natural aquarium is not just a short term thing

I will follow this up soon with lists of fish, plants, and setup info. I really don't even know what everything is in this tank. HAHA

Hope you enjoy, let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for looking

Looks great, who are you kidding no layout! Awesome, love it

The only thing I don't love is the plant in the middle right, it grabs my attention a little too much as it's texture is too different from the rest of the tank. Other than that it's wonderful!

The plant in the middle looks like some kind of bacopa.
Nice setup - I like the fish selection and the white background looks nice for this tank.
I totally agree with the notion that the natural aquarium isn't just a short term thing....you can play with scape after scape and never feel totally satisfied...then you can just give up and let it go for a couple months and it will totally blow you away!

Very nice! I like the brightness, and the layout looks deceptively simple.

Yeah, i can see what you are saying. It was so beyond control for so long, i got lazy with trying to tame any of it. HAHA

Most of the pictures you see in contests, and my own are no more then 6 months old. Once you get past that, it is virtually impossible to control the layout. Lets just say this final shot is leaps and bounds different then the original idea

Thank you as always for the encouragement. This time however, it was all nature, i had no control of this tank for the last year

JB,

An other great looking tank. I do like the wild feel to it. Some of the compition tanks are too controlled in my opinion.

Your photos are also great. Didn't you do a little write up in one your threads with how you take the pictures?

You're tearing this tank down?

I guess some people like the scaping and growing art of the hobby better than the finished product. (Like any tank is ever finished LOL)

Looks great I cant wait to see what your other scape turns into.
