Is there life on Mars?

Here's the hardscape for my new tank... dunno when I'll be able afford the plants I want

Criticism and comments welcome.

There might be life on Mars, but no plants.

Very nice hardscape!

What plants and fish are you planning?

A very nice and original scape, but I feel it needs some vertical hardscape to match the root like wood you have already, other than that I can't wait to see how it grows out, it looks really promising.

vary nice with i could do that. i would think you would want mostly low lying plants like a carpet of HC or something

Thanks everybody

eyebeatbadgers: It is a 40 breeder, I'm running 2x55 watt pcs and and a Rena xp3.

lauraleellbp: I'll give you a hint on the flora and fauna, I have VERY soft water

garuf: I hadn't considered adding any vertical pieces. I'm going to have to sit in front of the tank with a beer and ponder that one for a while.

My LFS is getting a shipment friday after next, which may have some rare plants. It looks like I have a date for planting!

this scape is fresh! if you add more vertical elements it won't be so innovative anymore.
