2 pieces of driftwood with attached java fern
egeria densa
nymphodies aquatica
15w perfecto hood

comments appreciated!

10/25/06 - no real plants.

11/30/06 - 2 banana plants and small piece of anachris, fake plants too

1/21/07 - java fern, egeria densa, nymphodies aquatica

its a good start, theres a few things i must add: 1. Upgrade the lighting, i noticed that one of the Anacharis in front bottom part of the stem has turned yellow. :/ Also, i would take out the airstone that you have for the sake of the plants.

I aggree. Take the airstone out. Doesnt Banana Plants need high lighting?

i've had the banana plant for a few months now. they grow slowly but surely.

Well either way the tank looks great. Keep posting pics(you can ultimately inspire something new for my tank!).

cool tank, good luck w/banana plants, mine melted and got eaten by 2 small clown plecos.

thanks. i've had 2 of them for a few months now and they do great! about 1x a week i get a new leaf. about then the oldest leaf is half dead so i pinch it off. ew i just said pinch it off...

Not a good idea. He doesn't have any CO2. So, the airstone is keeping small levels of dissolved CO2 in his water at all times. Leave it in for now.

huh, really?
i would think it would take the co2 the fish put out out of the water. of course i never really looked into that.
