Crystalview Thanks for the pic. Yours is such a nice dark green. It also looks more sturdy then my plants. Kind of thicker leaf texture also.
I will have to move it to the current to see how it does it does in the flow.

[quote=FarCanal;678783]. I always tie mine to bits of wood and find it will grower bigger in current. If the fronds are not swaying slightly in the current it will tend to stay quite small.

Riley I have never had luck with Bolbitis until now. I acquired a rhizome in trade and it was already tied to a rock. I placed it in the back of the tank with some current and it has been growing like crazy.

FarCanal I find the trick with Bolbitis (and all Ferns) is to not bury the Rhizome and give it plenty of current. I've been keeping Bolbitis for 6 years or so and I've learned a lot over the years. I always tie mine to bits of wood and find it will grower bigger in current. If the fronds are not swaying slightly in the current it will tend to stay quite small. I've just uploaded pics of mine here;

I guess it does grow in an unusual way, it just seems to get thicker and thicker sending rhizomes every which way.

Bolbitis How do you plant it and where?

When I first got Bolbitis I had read not to plant the roots. I put my plant in a hole in one of my rocks. It grows like crazy. It is a bright light green. There are a lot of roots the grow out from the base. This plant for me does not keep a shape does yours?
