Congrats on the new job. I will give you some time to get acclimated to the new job and then see what your schedule is like. Mine is hairy for a bit here between work and trying to get things prepared for the new tank. Thanks as it will be great to talk with someone that has been successful and bounce off ideas.
Have a great week.

|Cow Goes Moo||In a few weeks I will be starting my 40 gallon tank. Just waiting to get the rest of my equipment purchased and set up. Would love to see if you have plants to sell and meet a fellow enthusiast.|

Hello fellow NCers!
Hopefully I won't get in trouble for reviving this post. But I am back and looking to trade, I went on vacation a while back and lost a good portion of my collection of plants, so I am looking to trade some of the plants I currently have for some of the plants I have lost while on vacation. I currently have a thick forest or crypts in my aquarium, most of them seem to be Cryptocoryne Wendtii Bronze/Red and a few extra Cryptocoryne Wendtii Green/Florida Sunset with a more narrow leaf and some Blyxa Japonica. I also have some AR Minis that have been grown in a lower light tank for a while so they aren't as pink as those in my high light aquariums, but they should change colors shortly after being introduced into a higher light environment. I forgot to turn the heater back on a few months ago in the aquarium with the Blyxa and the AR mini so there is a tiny bit of hair algae on them.
I also have dry good available.
My new line of Estimative Index ready liquid fertilizers! These liquid fertilizers really pack a punch and come ready to use in a user friendly liquid solution, which is easy to measure and dose. Since these fertilizers are much stronger than those found in the pet stores, you only need to dose 5ml per 10 gallon, and only for high tech aquariums, low tech aquariums, depending on plant mass, can usually use a half dose. You will want to dose Macros and Micros 3 times a week and do a 50% water change at the end of each week. If you are dosing a 10 gallon aquarium with the standard 5ml dose each 500ml bottle will last roughly 33 weeks, talk about value!!! I add extra iron to my micros, something you cannot get in the store without buying a separate bottle of iron, and then that bottle of iron contains little iron in it. I usually sell these fertilizers for $9 a bottle but looking to trade. Each 5ml dose will contain the following:
K - 5.27 ppm
N - 1.69 ppm
NO3 - 7.50 ppm
P - 0.42 ppm
PO4 - 1.30 ppm
B - .06 ppm
Cu - 0.01 ppm
Fe - 1 ppm
Mg - 0.11 ppm
Mn - 0.14 ppm
Mo - 0.003 ppm
Zn - 0.03 ppm
dGH - 0.02 degrees
I also have Osmocote+ root tablet, these are the most popular root tabs in the planted aquarium hobby, but in bulk and stock up!! You should add need root tabs every 3 months and place them every 3-4 inches through out your entire substrate. These root tabs are amazing, and you will not be disappointed. I usually sell these for $8 per 100 and 50 for $5, but looking to trade for plants so now is the time to stock up!
I am also offering up some of my custom blend flake food. This is a new blend I have been working on it contains 100% veggie flakes and a variety of protein flakes, including salmon, earthworm, hearing, shrimp and many more! I usually sell this at $5 per oz, but as mention several times I am looking to trade for plants!
Whole Salmon, Halibut, Black Cod, Whole Herring , Whole Shrimp, Whole Krill, Halibut, Seafood Mix (Including Krill, Rockfish, & Shrimp), Fresh Earthworms, Dried Brine-Shrimp, Salmon Meal, Seaweed, Spirulina, Carrots, Squash, Spinach. Vegetable oils, Soy Meal, vitamin & mineral supplement, Wheat Flour, Soy Flour, Wheat Gluten, Fresh Kelp, Lecithin, Astaxanthin, L-Ascorbyl-2-Phosphate (Source of Vitamin C), Natural and Artificial Colors, Vitamin A Acetate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement.
I am also overstocked on frozen food from Hikari, I have bloodworms and kill packs, these are all fresh, have not been sitting in the freezer for ages so you will be getting the best quality! I have 13 packs of bloodworms and 4 packs of kill. For those of you that don't know Hikari has a triple sterilization process which pretty much guarantee your frozen food will be free of pests, unwanted bacteria, and diseases.
For all you cichlid lovers out there I have some left cichlid food I no longer need:
Ken's medicated garlic sticks.
This is for treatments of protozoans. The stick has garlic to mask the bitterness of the metronidazole and the added ingredient of spirulina. We have now added Probiotics to this mix to aid in the digestion and the breakdown of the food.
Ingredients: salmon meal, dried brewer's yeast, soy flour, wheat flour, oat flour, corn gluten meal, dried spirulina algae, garlic, shrimp meal, dried krill, fish oil, paprika, lecithin, vitamin supplements a, d3, b12, biotin, metronidazole, natural coloring, ascorbic acid (source of vitamin c).
Guaranteed analysis: crude protein 45.0% min., crude fat 4.0% max., crude fiber 3.2% max., moisture 8.0% max. All natural ingredients, except for some artificial coloring. No preservatives.
Directions for use: Feed twice daily for 6 days. Should be the only food fed for the full 6 day cycle.
Floating Omega One floating cichlid pellets, these are my favorite pellets because they contain NO fish meal, shrimp meal or any sort of mystery meat found in practically every other food. I have a tad under 2 pounds of it.
Some of the plants I am looking to get are:
Staurogyne Repens - looking for about 20-25
Pogostemon Helferi - looking for around ten
Glossostigma elatinoides - A good sized handful would be nice, I'll include a picture of the handfuls I used to RAOK
Linmophila Aromatica - About 4-5 stems
Ludwigia senegalensis - About 4-5 stems
Here are what the crypts look like, don't mind the extra red hue, it's from the LED I am currently running:
What I believe to be Crytocoryne Wendtii Green or it may be Florida Sunset:
I am looking to get about this much glosso:

|Kirbalicious||hey, this looks a bit dated, but *bump*ing it back up, I'd love to do a swap/buy/sell/trade, looking to bulk up on some plants, anyone still interested? Also, wasn't there an aquarium group that met at the nc state fairgrounds?|

Wanted to update my list of what I am looking for. I managed to get some Downoi so I don't need anymore of that. I also got some Lobelia cardinalis but would be willing to trade for some more as long as it's the 'small' type. So if anyone near Raleigh wants to swap or simply meet up and talk fish or plants let me know, here is the new list of what I am wanting to trade for:
Nesaea pedicellata golden
Star Grass Heteranthera Zosterifolia
Sharp stainless steel scissors, sharp being the key word!
20# co2 canister
Steel one-way valves
I may be open to other things as well just let me know what you have!! Even if you don't want to swap hit me up looking to meet fellow hobbyists in the area.

Heck yeah just let me know! I just met up with someone and did a swap yesterday. I really enjoy getting to know the people that live around me that are into this hobby. I know what you mean about $$$, I've spent too much myself already on this hobby lol! I am going to be setting up a bunch of new tanks soon I believe. Whenever you wanna swap let me know.
