wazzupmac Anyone know if anyone will be bringing apistos, pencilfish, or various micro tetras?

Qwe The BAS Spring Breeder's Auction is tempting... just don't think I like the idea of not getting home until past 1AM :/

Qwe So it looks like if you pre-register for the OVAS auction in May, you will get a 60/40 split rather than 50/50... Just thought I'd let you all know in case you were planning on bringing anything.

Also, that auction will have a plant table, where you simply put your plants up for sale instead of auctioning them off. Curious to see how that goes.

Qwe Good to hear. I admit I have zero interest in NYC area auctions, so I haven't been putting them up... but if others in the area are watching, I suppose I should.

Teruterubozu, the updated list is the first post. There are several in April and May, including NJAS, CNYAS (a bit far), NECA (pretty much just cichlids), BASNY, and OVAS (I'll probably be at that one).

Adrand I appreciate the updates. Thank you.

sushi1980 Yes, keep it updated. Had it not been for your post, I wouldnt have known about a few of those auctions.

Teruterubozu I'm new here but was very excited to see this thread. I had wanted to go to the PVAS but couldn't rearrange my work schedule. I hope to be able to go to some of these next time they come around. It's there anything coming up in April or May?

Qwe Just wanted to make sure, does anyone still reference this thread, and should I continue to keep it updated?

Qwe So am I the only one going to the NAS auction tomorrow?

I used to live in Saratoga. It is a 3 hour drive from there. I haven't been in many years, but back then the event was so large we had to find a new place for the auction! Doors open at 9 for lot viewing and registration. Auction starts at 11:30. Think I remember it ending at like 4 or 5. Proceeds are split between the auctioner and PVAS. For every 5 lots you auction off you get a sticker for one lot to go early.

Admission is free, all are welcome. There will be a 50/50 raffle. Most of all, I will be there! :-)

AquaStudent Yeah. It's a 3 hour drive from where I'll be (and perhaps 5 hours from where I'll be spending the night before). We will see.

Qwe Best deals do happen towards the end a lot of times, and if it is as big as people make it sound, I'd imagine it will run into the evening. You can text me that day and I can keep you informed, if you'd like.

Here's the registration form for anyone interested.

If you pre-register, you get the red dot per 5 lots. Rules here

AquaStudent Well, I may be able to make it. I'll be coming down from way Upstate NY but it's possible.
I'll check the maps and feasibility. It runs until the evening right? That's when the best deals happen anyway.

AquaStudent I unfortunately won't be able to go next week. I'm going up to the family camp in the Adirondacks. I will freeze.

AquaStudent I thought it was this weekend not next one. I may be able to do that.

I don't have a ton of tank space but I could make room in my 29g...and I do have a 10g growout tank that's currently uninhabited (don't know if I want to stock it or keep it as a growout tank...)
