AGUILAR3 Wow, it's crystal clear.

Does the back yard pond get turned back into a swimming pool for summer and do you plan on going deeper on your front yard pond?

Izabella, it was not nice for that forum to tell you your koi were ugly! They are pond grade koi but you have some nice ones there that are going to look nice grown up. and the Mutt koi(un-name able ones) can be lovely in their own right
here is my Ochiba, they are my favorite. Her name is Rootbeer. She is a GinRin Ochiba Shigure. the name describes the pattern and colors "Autumn leaves floating on the water"
this picture is about 2 years old, Rootbeer is now about 26 inches

Very nice looking koi you have Meganne. I have a hard time telling from pictures sometimes the difference between one type and another so you must have a better eye than myself. I do agree about not caring what other people say especially on koi dedicated forums as they take their fish very seriously(which I can understand) but for those of us that just want some nice koi for are ponds I think some of those will look nice when full grown.

By the way Meganne it would be nice to see some more pics of your pond and koi. Sorry for derailing your thread Izabella.

There is so many different types now that it's hard to tell them apart, but Izabella does have some nice looking koi that I think will end up looking nice when they get older.

CatFishStryk Beautiful waterfall, I love the "wild" look of it. And I really like how nice and bright the colors are on all your fish! Wish I could have a pond
