dtejeda.arias He looks good! HM DT are nice specially when they flare and the tails over lap.

Kyguylal No name as of yet. Waiting to figure out his personality. Seems like I have another aggressive one. First thing he did was eat the snail I have in the tank

aluka nice!, what did you name him?

Kyguylal Here's a shot of him

Don't mind the jumbled mess of moss and rotala. The stuff took off

Here's a crumby picture just to show his finnage. Once again, don't mind the water marks on the glass and messy tank. (He's not even flaring in this)

aluka haha, petco started getting them from breeders. So they actually have nice bettas now! Well they get all the imperfect bettas, not good enough for show, but amazing in pet standards!

Post pictures!

Kyguylal I found a fish! Vibrant red double tail half moon betta. I searched for three weeks and finally found one that I like. Went to five different small pet shops and a handful of others. Ended up finding him at....Petco

Kyguylal A northshore Petsmart...I won't say their specific location, but its easy to figure out. They had good plants, dwarf hair grass, java ferns (regular and needle leaf), great anubias, lots more. Only problem was that the instructions on the java ferns a s Anubias stated to bury the plant up to the leaves in gravel...

Kyguylal Went into a big chain store today and the fish guy kept telling me that my ammonia level was, "about 10%". When I asked him what was in a fertilizer they had, his response was, "pot-ah-sai-um" and "I-Ron". Potassium and iron...yeah

Re: Back to the North Shore

I pass boston pets everyday on my commute and never stop because of one bad experience there. I will definitely give it another chance now, maybe tomorrow actually.

SBPyro The great thing about Boston Pets is that Peter is very receptive of new ideas.
I just wish it was "on my way home from work" now like it was last year.

Kyguylal Just got back from Boston pets. They really have done some work in there. The selection was pretty good. They carry all of the seachem products as well as fluval. Peter is a great guy. His specialty is in cichlids. Decent selection of plants. I'll definitely be back in there

dtejeda.arias Im looking for a local breeder! I'm sure there has to be at least one in MA! It's either that or import show class bettas from Thai.
