steakman mc1973,
I was thinking the same problem as you indicated. I couldn't figure out how to distribute the bubbles evenly on all 4 tanks unless I have 1 regulator for each. That defies the logic.
It's way too much troubles to get on with it.

mc1973 I would have to agree with Poppyseed.
If you think about it, even using an air pump, it's hard to get "even" distribution of oxygen if you fork it out 4 ways, you would have to have tremendous amount of pressure coming out to get it to go out all 4.

You could try hooking it up to a 4 way gang valve, but again, the CO2 will probably push out the way with the least resistance so really it's not that effective.

If you find a way I would be intersted to see that lol.

steakman Thanks for your input. I am very much giving up on this. I don't have other alternatives beside dosing them with liquid co2.

poppyseed I'm not sure how effective DIY CO2 would be for four tanks from one source.. you'd need to have enough pressure coming from the bottle to push CO2 to all of them. You might be better off using two different ones if you really don't want separate bottles for all of them, and using a t valve (search Petco Plastic T Valve for a cheap one).

Again thought, I'm really not convinced it will be very effective.

Is it possible and how ... ?

I have 4 low tech planted 10 gallon shrimp tanks. All are sitting on a large 2 tier table. The plants are doing and growing alright even though it's on a slow grow side.
I'd like to add DIY CO2 for them but I don't want to have 4 different set up of a bunch of plastic soda bottles sitting all over the place, specially out in the open.
Is it possible to build 1 large set up of DIY Co2, then distribute them evenly to all 4 tanks?
If yes, please show me how. If no, would you tell me why.
I searched the forum to see it anyone had any idea how this done to no avail.
Thanks in advance.
