Axelrodi202 I have a pair of Aphyosemion primigenium. Very hardy and easy spawners, great fish overall. Hopefully I can source some A. ogoense soon.

m00se I am so tempted to buy some eggs and get into these beautiful fish. My two main concerns are 1.) whether the tanks you put them in have to be airtight due to their love of jumping, and 2.) whether they'd get along with the celestial pearl danios they'd have to live with.

jrill Reading this thread makes me jealous. Was heavy into killies in the early 80s. Think its time to get back at it.

aceranch I've a few Jordanella floridae. My male is in love with a female firemouth. He is almost always at her side. Odd little fish.

Qckwzrd Nice looking fish! I currently have aphyosemion australe gold and gardneri. I house them all in separate containers (no heater or airstones) in my kitchen. I harvest eggs from prs and trios every couple of weeks. I keep two spawning mops in each container and duck weed, java moss or java fern with the eggs/fry. I feed the adults flakes, frozen blackworms and live blackworms.

depends on which tank it is. i have them in two tanks right now, the father of the one photoed is in a 29 which i try to harvest eggs when i have space to grow them out, or I will pull out free swimmers. but in that tank I also have my stripped panchax and the 3 hybrid panchax gardneri, so i pull free swimmers before they get eaten. but i think i got three eggs last night that i put into my breeder box which already on juvie in it.

the one photoed is in his own tank, with a female (i haven't seen in ages) and i let them free swim in that tank. as of last night i have 3 in that tank.

I'm not really concerned with breeding them, but any fry i see i want to give a fair chance to survive.
