|mosspearl||Marimo moss balls are actually a form of algae from what I've read. Some people do flatten them out and attach them to objects or frames to use as carpeting in tanks. I haven't tried that, but I've seen pictures. It doesn't have roots, so planting like a sword plant, for instance, wouldn't work.|

planted moss ball?
i was wondering if there was anyway u could take apart a moss ball and plant it..? i guess i dont even even know how it is made up or what the inside of it consists of..
