|Fishies_in_Philly||Go to the end of Learner's newt tank build thread. I posted my photobucket link in there. The 125 is called "somewhere over the rainbow".|

Been there done that (but not on a tank that big) Sorry to hear the news but I suspect it's been fun re-doing it and tweaking changing it from what you learned previously.
I'm around - work has gotten the better of me but I finally got the 56g Paludarium off the ground! Can't wait to see new pictures

|Fishies_in_Philly||Hey! You're still around! Yeah, this is already torn down and being rebuilt. I'm about a third of the way finished it was substandard silicone. I tried a different, less expensive brand. Lesson learned|

|duff||Hi Bill! Are you tearing down the 125? Is that the one that is lifting? I am so sorry to hear this! what section is lifting? Any ideas on what caused it to lift?|
|12-14-2012 07:34 PM|
|Fishies_in_Philly||Thanks dan.....shame j have to tear it apart and rebuild it now|

Hey Bill - The 125 looks awesome! I really like it.
Glad you're working on the bowfront finally. I thought you were going to start with this one - lol

You could do a shrimp palu in the hex. Heck, they can go months just feeding on the natural biofilm in the tank. Perfect for a busy guy like you.
Bad news, the bowfront has to wait. I have to tear this sucker apart completely to make some repairs. The land section on the left is lifting. A few repairs failed. I figure that since i need to tear it apart, i might as well do a re-design. I love this tank, but i still think i can do so much more with the space i have.

|Learner||now we're talkin' brother...............lets get this baby runnin. That is gonna be a great lookin tank. I dont know what I am gonna do with the hex tank yet. I have to really think about it. I have height in the tank but not a lot of room otherwise ya know. Its a tough call and will be needing your help. Throw some ideas out there for me............I would love to go with a cool critter but I just cant with my busy summer schedule......maybe just plants idk??|
|12-09-2012 06:06 AM|

|Fishies_in_Philly||Thanks jake. Growth is slow, but i'm good with that as long as everything is healthy. I still think i could do this tank better......lol|
