I would say that they are easier than any type of neocaridina but that might be a pretty narrow distinction as both species are easy to care for.
They are also more active, in my experience, than most neos. Swim around more, mate more, etc.

Extremely easy to care for, and out breed my cherries. No one to my knowledge has come up with a color strain for them yet.

I want to keep malawa as my first shrimp. I just love wild type animals and like the natural yet colorful look on these guys. How easy are they? And what's a good price to find them for?
Anyone want to provide some tips?
