Good Luck!!! My wife and I are saving for a down payment so we too can finally have a house where a fish room is possible.

Maechael Been kind of hectic for me lately, seems like my every waking minute has been taken even on days where nothing seems to get done.

This weekends water changes have been postponed to today, and lights have been off since Friday night. hoping all algae to have resolved in the blackout.

Will be feeding some nice mixtures of frozen foods tonight, hoping to get some laborious pet stuff taken care of tonight.

Blackheart Yes... :P If I had one. I really like my wooden pine stand for my 55 though. So that's why I'm reluctant to change it.

Maechael Nice deal Pixel.

Blackheart, if you had a double stand.... haha.

Blackheart Yeah, 90 gallon is the same footprint as 75. Just about 4 or 5 inches taller.

That would be awesome. Hell, I'd be happy enough to have 2 tanks. A double tank stand with a 55 on top and maybe a 40 long on bottom.

mrpixel It's almost the same footprint as a 55 or 75. I've got a 6ft 125 that is in storage. Some day I'll be able to set that bad boy up. I've come to the conclusion that when I get a house, and have a fishroom. I will only have large tanks (55 or larger) with a 20L for quarantine.

Blackheart Nice score. Wish I had enough room for a gigantic tank like that. I'd love to have a 125.

mrpixel Picked up a 90G with stand, canopy and 2 different lights (T8 and T5) for $125. I need to touch up the stand with some more stain, but it's still in good condition. Now I have to clean the apartment to find more room to put it.

Maechael Pixel yeah, I have tried both. Honestly thinking about just tripling my WC regimens for my tanks since I seem to be having issues.

Blackheart I'm planning to possibly take a ride out to the Petco in Utica on Hall road. They have a tremendous section of plants.

I also was looking at Meijers recently and saw some fish marked "White Fin Rosy Tetra," quite a unique looking fish/tetra. I might have to pick some up once my tank is cycled. Not from Meijers though.

mrpixel Had two fatal jumpers within the a week of each other. One was a Lamp Eye in my 20G and another was an Oto in my Bow front 25. The bow doesn't have a canopy, but the 20 has a glass canopy that only had a 2 inch opening in the front where a return pipe was holding it up.
Boo.

mrpixel Do you use a syringe and just squirt it on the bba or do you just dump it in the tank?
05-20-2015 01:18 AM
Maechael Hydrogen peroxide has yet to affect my snails, of any variety.
but I spot treat, then water change anyways.

mrpixel I haven't tried h202 because I have MTS in that tank and I also have lamp eye tetras that are courting and I don't want to disturb them from potentially spawning. I've scraped all that purple algae off the glass on that yesterday, but now it looks like their is potential ick on some of the black neons. I don't know why this tank is suck a problem child.
