cynsnn Hi Jamye , I'm very happy you got back to me so quickly! Yes I just love the black/white and the solid? blacks! But I also want some RCS and yellow, orange, blue, red/white, but I've never seen a gold shrimp do you have any pics of them? The next few months will be good for me so I can save some cash and set up some tanks (somewhere), space always seems to be a problem! lol Send me a pm if u have anything soon I do have some tanks set up right now so I can find some space for them Cindy

ravensgate Hey Cindy! I'm about to move to Hartsville probably in the next year or so, my boyfriend just bought some riverfront property out there we are hoping to build on soon I'm in Lebanon currently so we are practically neighbors right now! I have some CBS but right now all I have are males and one female in my tibee tank. Now if you are wanting just color alone I'll have some available in the next few months as I already have two black and white babies and my CBS female is due any day now, though not sure who she bred with. She's in a tank with other tibees, mischlings OEBT, CRS, CBS and Goldens so it's a crap shoot. I don't have any BKK or pandas currently. Let's stay in touch though for sure since we are so close!

I live in Hartsville so I'm really close please let me no when they will be ready to go Thanks in advance Cindy

I would be interested.

Tazalanche I'm still here too. I'd definitely be interested in meeting with local hobbyists & possibly doing some fauna/flora swaps.
We have a surplus of:
  • assassin snails
  • guppies
  • endler hybrids
  • marbled longfin ancistrus 1"-3.5" long (aka bristlenose plecs)
  • albino longfin ancistrus 1"-3.5" long (aka bristlenose plecs)
  • a few white albino longfin ancistrus 1"-2" long (aka bristlenose plecs)
  • a few spare angelfish
  • a few spare tanks (90g drilled for a sump, six 14g-15g acrylic display tanks from a big box store that closed)
We might also have some spare plants or cuttings, if needed.
They're not fish related, but we are also getting rid of all of our guinea pigs (2 males & 2 females left) & cages (3 left), if any of you know anyone looking for some.

We are mainly interested in shrimp, flame moss, Christmas moss, spare lighting, spare CO2 equipment, shrimp safe fertilizers or unique fish, but enjoy checking out pretty much everything.

Since I previously posted, I've made the following changes to my 20L RCS tank:
  • Removed rasboras (moved to 54)
  • Removed clown plecs (moved to 55)
  • Removed 4 amazon swords (were too big)
  • Removed sponge filter
  • Removed two 24" fluorescent bulb units (ballast fried in one, so replaced with LED)
  • Temporarily added 6 baby albino ancistrus to grow out a little before moving them back to the ancistrus tank
  • Added 10 amanos
  • Added 12 super tigers
  • Added school of celestial pearl danios
  • Added Fluval 88g CO2 kit with paintball tank conversion
  • Added Eheim 2215 canister filter with a prefilter sponge
  • Added a 24" Current Freshwater Satellite Plus
  • Removing Penguin Biowheel 200 next week (giving canister time to seed bacteria first)

February 2015 (started CO2):

May 2015:

It is now about 80% thickly planted with anubias nana, bronze wendtii, java moss on driftwood, a large mossball, amazon swords & dwarf hairgrass. Once I get some mats of flame moss or Christmas moss, I'll do the final adjustments to the scape (removing remaining swords & decide to keep hairgrass, or not) and just sit back to enjoy it while I start tinkering with my 55g planted tank that I started CO2 on last month.

shattersea I'm still around. I am keeping orange neos that are breeding like crazy. I'm also trying CRS in a different tank, but in tap water instead of RO, which so far isn't really going so well. I lose one or two a week in a slow decline.

Tyveck I am actually about to put up my entire 12g crs/RCS tank with plants, moss and drift wood. Would anybody be interested?
