|wicca27||mine have never taken any kind of food other than veggies or algae waffers even when i smash snails or put brine shirmp in they dont mess with them just clean the glass and i think they like cooler temps too if i remember right so they would work well in shrimp tanks. now time to find a net and camp out infront of the 55 for a few hours lol|

|Paulcm10||it doesnt snack on your baby shrimps?|

|chunkychun||it eats algae off glass and i occasionally give it some spinach or squash. no live stuff.|

|Paulcm10||i am reading somewhere that they require bloodworms and larval critters. is that true? =o|

|chunkychun||yes they are safe with shrimp, my hillstream eats algae, and some pellets but doesn't bother my rcs|

|wicca27||i have hillstreams but not in a shirmp tank. they are an algae loach and i dont see how they could eat a shrimp really with them being flat like they are. i never can find them in the big tank when i want to move them to the shrimp tank but im thinking they would be ok.|
