Nothing too new going on. HC is carpeting nicely. DHG on left has spread some but not a whole lot. I'm moving in a few weeks so I'm going to have to tear this tank down. I really hate to tear it down. Is there an easy way to tear the tank down and replant all this HC?

Haven't really done much to this tank. Been working on my 40b. But....here are some (bad quality) updated pictures.

Rimless High Tech 10G - Build
I think it looks good with the right side open...you have more space for plants

I just couldn't get the right side to look good for my eyes with any rocks. Tried a group of small ones and it just didn't look right. I decided to leave it open.
My LFS was supposed to get a "big" shipment of plants in today. Unfortunately, they only had like 20 random crypts. Not normally like them...Just threw some extra plants from the breeder in for now. Going to Chicago this weekend, but I'll grab some more plants when I get back home!
Sorry for the bad pictures! Using the iPhone.

I didn't go to school at Mizzou but I've lived in CoMO about three years now. Not a bad place!

Hey there! Really dig the rock arrangement. I liked the small rock on the right, but it would look good with or without it.
I will say in a tank that small, the HC and hairgrass may grow into one another.
I spent a couple years at Mizzou, really enjoyed the Columbia area!

Ya I like it better without the right side rocks also.

That driftwood was soaking when I set up my 40 gallon!
I did like the first layout, but after staring at it for a few hours....it just didn't look right from all angles!

|tryank||Was that a piece if driftwood in the pre-derimmed pic? I'm glad you went with the rock layout -it looks amazing. I liked it when it was more bare on the right, but it's still pretty sweet with that other ginormous rock too. I'd suggest plants but all I know are HC, glosso, and moss! With how well you've done your hardscape it'll be hard to go wrong.|
