I wish I had one of the pumpkin's left to compare colors - offhand I think they look the same color-wise.
I'm pretty sure they are both Neocaridina heteropoda var orange -- just from different sources.

|theurbantomato||Do these happen to be the same pumpkin shrimp line I picked up a month ago? I was looking to pickup some more.|

I was posting from my day job so I didn't have anything in front of me :-)
Off the top of my head - orange are $5 ea, fire are $7 ea, and both are buy 4 get one free
Aand we do offer credit for, oh, lets say, peacock gudgeons, threadfin rainbows, or cory cats if somebody was hypothetically breeding them...

Any chance you could PM me shrimp prices? (If you aren't okay with publishing them on the boards)

We went last night and cherry picked some goodies from one of our wholealers.
Everybody looked good when I aclimated them last night.
Some of the highlights:
Sunkist orange shrimp
Fire red shrimp
Apisto caucatoides (sadly, just males)
A sweet pair of nanacara
Unfortunately their crystal red shrimp were ugly and pricey so I passed
Ditto their celestial pearl danios
We still have nice microrasboras, pygmy cories, and amazing locally raised angelfish in stock as well.
Tons of val in stock - $3 ea but now 10 for $20, I need to make room for more plants !

|Qwe||Stopped in after the auction last night, and was very impressed with the store. Very nice selection for both saltwater and freshwater, and seems like it will be amazing when they are both finished.|

Damn I must have driven by the store at least 4 times the last 3 weeks.
I guess my commute home is gonna get longer

I just switched "day jobs" -- new job is 7 miles from home
Unique is more of a labor of love than a job...
hmmm I'm pretty sure my friend Paul was trying to breed Pseudomugil gertrudae Aru II -- these are his fish :
And if you end up with too many gudgeons lemme know, I'll gladly meet you down by RI someplace - I need to go visit George at Aqualife (or goto a TFSRI meeting) at some point anyway...
