Wicket_lfe My parents live 10 mins from country critters and I'll be there the weekend of the 26th, if you can wait and want me to grab one for you, if you can meet someone convenient for me, since its a tank. ;-)

Anywhere near Queens Center would be ideal, otherwise the Financial District.

Anyway, I'm also going to get a Mr. aqua for about $30 that i found on Amazon, but it links to an external vendor.

acitydweller Stay closer to home and checkout amazon. We've seen quite a few mr aqua cubes fetching premium prices on othe NJ tours so marine depot is an option to consider as well.

Would love to, but I actually think he'll be happier by himself in something smaller. I've tested this hypothesis before when I had to temporarily house him in bowl. And if I find a cheap 5 gallon, I wouldn't be opposed to that either.

I live in Chelsea near the flower market. Walking by last week, there was a shop that specialized in vases. There were a number of larger ones that are definitely around 2-3 gallons in size. Multiple sizes and shapes (cylinders, cubes etc). I thin kthey'll charge around $20-40 for each. Thick and quality - I use them for my own tanks.
cool! thanks for the heads up. Actually, i love those vases, I have a 6 inch cube one. Im always looking for those for emersed wabi-kusa set ups. good to know where to find them!
