Hoppy If you use those bulbs, you will need three 10 - 12 inch diameter "brooder" light reflectors, and, of course 3 bulbs. It is possible to make this look good, by using the electric cord to hang the lights - search this forum and there is a thread that covers that very well.

Adam T I know people do use them. Personally I think there are many better options that will give you more light, in a more attractive package for only a few bucks more.

You can pick up a used coralife pc fixture for $20-40 prolly.

Would this be a good light???

I think I want to use this for high lighting on a 46 gallon bowfront tank. It would be in a flood light reflector. Does this seem good? Also, should I use one or two?
