Tinanti Yes, it's the same plant. Rotundifolia means literally 'round leaves'. That applies to emersed leaves, not the submersed ones.

In R. indica, there can be short spikes at the nodes or just two flowers at a node, one above each leaf (Ammannia has an inflorescence called a cyme, with 3 flowers each, above each leaf).

Jeffww I think it's a flower of some sort of rotala...Can't give you a species though. Someone with more skill might chime in though.

Plant ID

I have quite a few plants that I do not know the species of but I presently have one that is flowering. The flowers are very small and a lavender color. Can you ID this plant?
