cheers for the input matey... its only a few extra for 4kg of shrimp stratum over the 2kg of plant stratum so i'll do it that way round

somewhatshocked You can't base this on weight. Fluval Stratum is extremely light-weight.

Additionally, Fluval Shrimp Stratum (same as Plant Stratum, just smaller grain size) would be a better scale for your tank.

You'll want to get at least 4kg. May have a bit left over but it's better than not having enough.

how much substarte??? wanting to order!!

looking to get a bag of fluval plant stratum substrate for my fluval spec 19l (V) but an i get away with just getting the 2kg bag??? looking to get this ordered asap as i wanna start the tank cycling
