themetalchurch My RCS spawned and now i need to retank some of the young. Probably have 6-8 I can get rid of. The adults in my tank range from high grade sakura to high grade fire red. Local pickup in the fishtown/kensington area. Don't need any cash for them, but would accept a pack of smokes or a six pack in trade

Fishies_in_Philly If you are looking for large pieces of red lava rock and can't source it locally, Dambly's nursery in NJ carries it. It's reasonably priced as well.

For a tank that size i'm guessing you want something thicker though. These are pretty thin and branchy. 3', 2' and 18" pieces left.

I saw your fern post and I have a couple big wads of bolbitis. double handfuls each.
Any pictures of the wood?

I'm definitely interested in some bolbitis. In fact, I want a ton of the stuff since it's slow growing and it'll be my main plant. However, I'm not yet ready for it.

I'm in the planning phase now, gathering hardscape, playing with layout, and much reading. I've got to move the inhabitants out and really clean the tank as well... maybe hose down my eco-complete. Lots of work before I'm plant ready.

Rush3737 Finally have an updated pictures of everything as well full list of equipment and such that I'm selling:

The following fish tanks are for sale:

75 gallon tank - Includes tank, stand, and foam piece for between tank and stand. Inside the stand I've mounted a light that makes finding things inside much easier, and added a shelf for extra storage. This tank had a SafeTSorb substrate that I've removed 95% of into buckets. The buckets stay, but if you'd like to bring your own buckets along I will give you the substrate to go along with the tank. Buyer is responsible to hose down the tank to remove the remaining substrate.

29 gallon tank - Includes tank, upgraded hood OR original hood and light, and a combination substrate of gravel and SafeTSorb. Needs a thorough cleaning.

Dutch Planted 6300K 4' LED light - This fixture will grow plants and make them look brilliant like none other. Includes tank mounts for a 4' long tank, but you'll likely want to hang it above the tank anyway. LED so it'll last nearly forever. $150

Anyone who purchases a tank above equipment can also get the following at next to no cost. These prices are only for those who buy a tank or above stuff, as I'm looking to move them out.

Aquaclear 50 HOB filter - $8
Aquaclear 50 HOB filter - $8
All those filters come with media included, as well as 1 fresh type of media from available supplies, which currently include:
Ammonia Remover - $2
Half a box of peat - $2
Biomax - $1
Carbon - $3
And then there is plenty of other stuff:
Extra long net - $2
Little fert weighing scale - $2
Tretrafin food - $0
Skull and shark decorations - $1
Scrub brush - $1
API master test kit - $3
Assorted dry ferts - $5
100W heater - $1
100W heater - $1
Dome light with CFL grow light - $2
Dome light with CFL grow light - $2
Home Depot Diamond Plate 4' lights. Great for lighting up a tank and plants. Will include the bulbs in there now and a spare set of bulbs for each. $10 each.
Bag of SafeTSorb - $3
Driftwood - $3
Homemade PVC CO2 diffuser - $10
Jager Eheim 300W heater - $5

75g tank stand
Fluval 406 filter and media

Rush3737 Hey folks, an update on my situation, now with some new stuff:

I sold the fish from the 75g tank today. The stand, tank, and fluval 406 I had on it are already spoken for. However I still have:

The fish from the 29g tank. Maro, I know you said you can't take all the fish, but maybe just the ones from this tank?
4 Blue Tetra
10 Snakeskin Barbs
1 Pictus Catfish
4 Bronze Cory

I will sell all the fish together for $30. Worth it for the barbs alone frankly, as they are a rarer and great looking barb, that acts like a docile schooling fish rather than other semi-aggressive barbs. They look really cool together.

Then equipment. The big prize is my light, I'll post the details from the order here. It's a build my LED unit:
1 x Dutch Planted 6300K
(Number of Fixtures: 1, Fixture Length: 48", Beam Angle: 90 Degree, Fixture Color: Silver)
1 x Tank Mounts
(Tank Mount Color: Black)

I've got to price that out and try to do some research, but with mounts and shipping it was $300 new. Given that it's LED and in excellent shape yet I'd like to get $200 for it if possible.

The rest of the stuff I'm not going to list a price, but am hoping someone can just use a ton of the stuff and use it.
I've got an Aquaclear 50 HOB filter.
Lots of extra media.
Tons of ferts, both liquid and dry.
Lots of CO2 stuff, but it stopped working years ago, and I'm not sure what's wrong. I'll get some pics together, but it's tank, regulator (a proper one, not a cheepy unit), solenoid, tubes, backflow valves, homemade PVC diffuser... all of it. Since I'm not sure where the problem lies I'd like to sell the whole CO2 setup to someone who can figure it out and put it to good use.
A 50g tank that I bought and never used.
Extra foam pieces for use between tank and stand.
Some rock substrate.
Two night home depot diamond reflective fluorescent 4 foot lights.
EHEIM Jager Aquarium Thermostat Heater 300W
Nets, food, and other miscellaneous stuff.

And I'll have more once the fish from the 29g are gone. Two more HOB filters, and some lights.

And the part I forgot last time... best way to reach me is by email,!

Thank you!

Hi folks, long time no post, and under unfortunate circumstances now.

I have two tanks, a 75 and a 29, and I have started the process of looking for a new home where chances are the fish will not be able to come along.

I'm happy to give these fish away dirt cheap, but I'd like to keep them together. Theses have been stable unaltered tanks for at least 2-3 years now, and so the fish all get along. And there is just so many places for the fish to hide that catching and selling them separately would be very difficult.

Once the fish are gone I'll start selling off all my equipment, also cheap.
Rush, If you still have the fish, reply to my PM and ill try to take some of them off of your hands.

When would it be convenient to take a look at it?

I do. I will be home all weekend, with the exception of Saturday morning.
