JoraaŃ Hygro sp 'araguaia' will work but the growth will be Green long slender leaves.. DHG and Erios parkeri are another sp. that will work ~~ No Rotala will grow in low tech in long term with out co2.

ryu1 Never came across with any slow growing rotala except true Rotala indica. I doubt it will do well in low tech though unless you got soil, maybe, never tried. I still would go with s. repens, you can also try Hygro sp 'araguaia', may work.

ren I mean I cleaned out the tank and everything and replanted everything. I wouldn't mind trying out some hm. Is it hard to maintain?

Qckwzrd Java fern, anubias are slow growers.

acitydweller I like how hm looks and it does fine in low light, just doesn't grow horizontal unless under high light
12-31-2012 01:15 AM
ren Yeah I already have a bunch of crypts in the tank already but it's not appealing to look at.
12-31-2012 12:58 AM
Monster Fish Go with smaller crypts like petchii, willisii, or lucens.

acitydweller I find stauro repens to be a largish plant that wouldnt scale well in a small tank.
12-31-2012 12:30 AM
ryu1 I guess crypt is too big. Staurogyne repens should do well.
