ShyShrimpDoc I think I am going to have to close down the sale for a little while and let their numbers recover. Will let everyone know when they are back up for sale (will be multiple grades next time).

ShyShrimpDoc If anyone has any SSS or SSS+ CBS and/or CRS I am looking for a couple of each color. I want to augment these genes in my colony.

ShyShrimpDoc I keep the water pretty soft. That and the driftwood in the tank are mostly what I attribute the pH to.

ShyShrimpDoc Still have quite a few left if anyone is interested.

HypnoticAquatic well florite wont drop it that much, it all has to do with the water your putting into it in the first place, but i can say she does have some nice shrimp tanks. last time i got some they were breeding within a week or two for any mature ones i had.

here's a pic of the ones i got from her last time(cameraphone) so there not hidef pics but decent

rodcuda That is not bad and I would expect them to do well. I did not think the Flourite would drop the PH that much.

ShyShrimpDoc I aim for a pH of 6.2-6.8. I know this is higher than a lot of breeders, but I have had good success with it. According to my logs most of the readings are about 6.5. That is with a KH of 2 and a GH of about 4.

rodcuda How does your PH come out with that substrate mix?
12-14-2012 07:24 PM
ShyShrimpDoc Half black sand, half fluorite.
