The planted tank will get planted.

Greetings folks,

I gave a bit of an introduction to myself in the lounge.

It's been sitting in the corner of my house for 5 months... empty. It's a 100 gal corner tank and it will get planted on January 2nd (after I get back from the holiday travels. It is time!

My plan is to establish a wonderful planted tank with low lights. Once it's clear that I have stabilized it and understand how to keep a planted tank, I will introduce adult Discus.

I have thought that I would do a DSM tank. I'm looking for advice on whether this is a good idea or not. I've saved enough so I can afford to buy enough plants to do this right. Also, I have enough used lighting so I could go with more light. Should I? To be honest, in my life right now, simpler is better. Direct me to simple things please!!!

Can someone direct me to an excellent DSM thread? I've been searching but I haven't found one.

Also, if you think I should consider another start, please let me know.
