R.sok I do have 1 piece of driftwood in the tank, but I don't see many shrimp on it, usually they are scavenging through the plants & moss. Only other time I've seen them bunched up like this is when I feed pellets. Do I have anything to worry about?

somewhatshocked Sounds about right.

Give it an hour or two and the shrimp will eventually discover the lettuce is the tasty part.

Rcs feeding question

This is my first try at feeding them a blanched veggy. What I dId was take a piece of lettuce & microwave it on high for 5 minutes in boiling water, after that I placed it in the tank but it still floated, so I put a wooden chopstick for temp to hold it down. After about 10 minutes I notice a few snails on the lettuce feeding & 7 shrimp on the wooden chopstick?
