umdterps96 maybe they are growing at the same rate. My mini usually only gets to 3/4-an inch long max. But ive had regular fiss over 3 inches long.

sayurasem Anyone know the scientific name for the mini? Or any specific name for it. I would like to by some so I can make sure it's the mini as OP posted.

Fissidens Fontanus (Regular vs Mini)

Judging by the picture of the fissidens fronds, is the lower one mini fissidens? Is the top one regular fissidens fontanus? I have both growing on different patches for many months and they remain the same size on each patch.
