Seth's 72g, the never ending project.

I'm not really a fan of the bowfront tanks anymore I planned on swapping it out for a 75 anyway. I still have 8 other tanks I would like to focus more of my planted tank time on my farm rack project

Seth's 72g, the never ending project.

I've been pretty lazy with all my tanks since I got my drivers license back after 6 car has been sitting the whole time so I've been dumping all my time/and money into that.

This tank has been sitting empty in my living room for a month or so.

Here's the plan

What substrate should I go with. I'm strongly considering dirt, jus because it's dirt cheap lol

Seth's 72g, the never ending project.

Started the year down last night, I put all the plants in 10g holding tanks

I also took off the t5 and put it on my other 72 temporarily

I put on a 20w and 10w floodlight led just for viewing light......I really like te shimmer with theses LEDs....I was staring at this tank all night last night im pretty exited to rescape it after I move.

Amandas tank I fed the same except some tubifex worms and brine shrimp. Their fav was definetely the Brine Shrimp. It looked like a shark feeding frenzy!

Amandas tank We are on the same boat far as pictures go. I don't have a camera either and my cell is only good with outdoor pictures.

They eat so fast, that it's rare any food drops to the bottom. I'm glad they are looking so good for you! What all do you feed them?

I fed mine 4 times a day. I varied the food at each feeding. They were very bright and colorful. They got a new home pretty fast! They were very impressive in the tank next to the juveniles. The largest was about 5".

Sethjohnson30 Thanks, the pictures don't do it any justice I'm a horrible photographer and all I have is an iPhone. I wish people could see it how I do. My roselines are definetly growing well. I've started feeding them a lot more lately. I've always worried about over feeding so my fish never grow. Now that I feed 2-3 times a day these guys are growing fast! An there color just keeps getting deeper and deeper. Ussually when I see older/larger roselines I feel sorry for them they always look so terrible at larger sizes but mine seem to be looking quite nice.

Amandas tank I was glad to see my Roselines gone, but man yours look fantastic in that tank! That setup is perfect IMHO. The layout of everything is great!
