|dr.tran||Agree with above. I personally add enough baking soda to bring the pH up to about 6.2 and they do fine. I have a harder time when the pH drops to about 5 though.|

|sayurasem||I think amanos are fine in ph of 6.4-7.5 pretty hardy shrimp. Same for temperature, 68-78F.|

Amanos with AquaSoil
So everyone says that Amanos need neutral pH and harder water to survive. But I've seen many of Amanos tanks that use Aquasoil in them with Amano shrimp too. Is this just a myth, or do the rocks he uses maybe balance out the buffering of AS?
