somewhatshocked Shredded and tightly packed newspaper, styrofoam, thick layers of other insulating material. But that's only if it's below freezing.

If it's below freezing, you can also use a heat pack.

To the OP: breather bags aren't necessary. Just make sure you're not freezing them or cooking them during transit.

i'm a ninja If you can trap enough air in the bag a ziplock should work. Why not go to your LFS and pick up some fish bags? We give them away for free at the LFS I work at

I was wondering if I can just put snails into a zip lock bag or do I need a breather bag
