But seriously, I think many of the people that used to post here are now using Facebook.

|Bushkill||You should be able to find them sold as individuals at the Fish Hut. They had a bunch when I was there a few weeks ago.|

Hey all, just moved to the area (living in Jersey City/working in Hoboken). Unfortunately, lost one of my cacatuoides in the move
Anyone know where I can find a single male apistogramma cacatuoides "orange flash" locally? I tried Fish Hut (they usually have a great selection) but no luck.
Also, what are the must-see shops in NYC? I keep seeing Pacific on Delancey pop up on recommendations, anywhere else I should check out?

|nonexistent||Pacific carried CPD's last time I was there, about a month ago. I don't remember the price but it definitely was not $9 a piece. I bought mine from Caribbean Blue (might be too far from you) and I think I lucked out, it was 4 for $10. See if you can give either place a call and find out. Good luck!|

|coachc12||Anybody know where I can get cpd's/galaxy rasboras besides Absolutely Fish? They want $9 a pop for cpd's and I am not willing to pay that.|

Took a trip out to Shark Aquarium in Hillside NJ to pick up some Dicrossus maculatus. I'd never been there before & I was very impressed by the selection & prices. The D. maculatus turned out to be D. filamentosus, which I couldn't use, but they had both sexes, looked very healthy & were $6.99 ea. Other interesting species were 8-banded barbs, nice fat espei rasboras, Anomalochromis thomasi at 3 for $12.00 & male & female wild type dwarf gouramis for $3.99 ea. They also had several species of Apistogramma. I picked up a trio of Apistogramma panduro for $15.00, so my trip wasn't a complete waste of time!
If anyone on this forum visits Fishtown USA in Queens on a regular basis, periodic updates of their stock would be greatly appreciated.
