Well there's good news and bad news.. The good! The red tail shark is now removed from the main tank and moved to his own little hark jail.
Now the bad.. About the same time...The recent addition of two ottos and a rubber lip pleco from petsmart has now resulted in the death of both of the smaller loaches I had I the tank. It's really discouraging.. I just got hasty about moving forward with the tank. :/ also.. Since I already had ich I added 4 more small loaches (because with loaches comes ich almost always) and I have subsequently lost I believe 3/4 of those fish... This is not a bright moment in this tank journal. From here I have ran out of two bottles of ich attack with no results for the remaining: original large loach, and last of the newest small loach.
From here I suppose I'm unsure of what to do. It would be difficult to catch the loaches and probably quite stressful for them; if I were to qt and treat them somehow. Even then they would be qt from the display tank for weeks to avoid re infection.
As far as treating them in the display.. I would really like to avoid any harsh chemicals obviously they can dye the entire tank and would likely just kill the loaches the pleco and all the plants I'd imagine..
I'm going to resume water changes now that I have used all of the ich attach, and replace some carbon to improve overall water quality. If the remaining loaches don't make it "husbandry forbid.... I don't think I'll be replacing them with more clown loaches.. As much as I love them

|The Dude||Isn't a 90g just a taller 75g? Have you considered dosing Metricide? I like where you're going with it|

Thanks Stephanie I really appreciate it. I think I need alot alot of co2 boost just to spot treat algae every time I see it.. Like in this tank I added pressurized co2 and still alot of algae.. I'm still saying its flow and soon as I can ima get some second hand cheapo power heads to blast more flow around.
Anyways here's a couple shots from today's wc
Hygro growing pretty happily no algae
Ludwigia narrow leaf.. Not so happy and growing algae(flow issue mostly I think)
Thanks for checking out my journal!! Come again soon!!

Wood looks awesome. Tank is looking good. I like your red tail shark, they look great the older they get.
I've been looking for some sources of good stones also, seems anywhere that has nice stone wants a small fortune. I've got 6 acres of field stone, but most is limestone/sandstone.
