Admittedly, I stole this USDA link from the other forum-wide "illegal" plant link, but I wanted to keep things tidy and here!

|jmsaltfish797||gonna have to disagree with the caulerpa seaweed being illegal. its a fairly common item at just about any saltwater lfs. its sold for use in refugiums and just to decorate your tank. i have a rather substantial amount in my reef tank right now, picked it up locally in salem.|

The only resources I've found about this are on the Oregon Fish and Wildlife subsite on Oregon.gov. This is like the "short list".
Algae, toxic (golden, toxic cyanobacteria)
Prymnesium parvum, Cylindrospermopsis raciborskii
Spartina alterniflora* , S. densiflora , S. anglica, S. patens**
Dead man's fingers
Codium fragile tomentosoides
European water chestnut
Yellow floating heart

Okay, that's a start.
Maybe as folks find out more we can keep a list posted in this thread?
I personally don't want to unknowingly import a noxious or invasive (plant or invert) into the state.

|jkan0228||I remember that Myriophyllum Brasiliense and Hygrophila Polysperma Sunset are both labeled as invasive plants that are illegal to trade.|

Oregon is pretty tight/strict on aquatic invasives.
The equivalent would be to drive a trailered boat into the state that had quagga mussels attached to the boat. The other week a petstore told me they couldn't sell me ramshorns they had in a display tank.
Of course I'm responsible for trimmings/clippings but not everybody is, which makes some species a no-no. I just can't remember which ones!

|KrazyFish||I would think that if you are responsible with discarding the plant or plant trimmings there are none (outside of the mainstream) which should be illegal to keep. Is there an equivalent aquatic equal to Marijuana?|

Illegal aquatic plants - Oregon? aka noxious weeds, invasive, quarantined, etc
Does anyone have a handy list of aquatic plants that are illegal or otherwise inadvisable to import, transit, etc in Oregon?
I used to have it but I've misplaced it. Thanks,
