Thanks I've since filled out the water section with a few plants too.
Its 3ft (H) x 3ft (L) x 2ft (D), not sure what that is in gallons!

Atticus22 - Beautiful tank, What an amazing home you have for your snake and fish!
Bill - Love the start of your "decorations" Quite a progressive look you've got going in outlining the land and water sections

|Fishies_in_Philly||Look at Duff rocking the vivs!! If you ever trim the hydrocoytle, let me know i think it's a disease Duff, once you do one, you want to do more. My next projects are a 40b palu and a 29b palu, maybe a 15 carnivorous terrarium.|

|Wy Renegade||Those are all cool! I'd love to see a thread on one or all. You know, that is how we all roll, steal a little bit of an idea for here and there and pretty soon you got your own little creation. Once you start, they just keep on evolving. My newest projects are a couple of 40Bs and a 30B. The 40s are paludariums, and the 30 I'm not sure on yet, but it might end up being a semi riparium.|

Thanks Bill, Now I want a tank as big as yours!!!! Love your set up - it is amazing what blobs of foam turn into I think I am addicted to paludariums!
Wy - Life got in the way of a thread and I keep meaning to do one - maybe I'll get the gumption up this weekend. Thank you for the kind words!
I love both of your set up and the Orchid blooms you've had are stunning! Your original details on your plumbing was a great help to me.
Here is the other small tank I just set up over the last few weeks with a much larger water area this time around
The the little collection I started:

|Fishies_in_Philly||I'm with don, it looks "ok" for a little tank seriously, that looks great duff. Nice job!!|

Awe, thanks Crazydaz! It was sad looking in the beginning but somehow it's actually turned out good! It's actually a ZooMed 12x12x18. A fellow terrarium enthusiast asked for a build overview of my little tank a while back for his web site. This will show the progression from start to finish (the picture above was taken over the weekend).
I too love the hydrocotyle and HC emersed, and they both grow like little weeds. I could never get the Hydrocotyle to grow well below water apparently the trick was to try it above water. The Hydro and HC started out as just a few little sprigs and in 4 months they have all but taken over.
This shot is the closest one I have to a full shot showing the sides.

Meh...that looks "OK," duff.
JK!! Wow! Do you have a shot including the some of the frame of the glass? I'm having a difficult time getting my orientation for it. Looks amazing, though!! I always love hydrocotyle species...such a delicate looking plant, even though it grows like a weed!!!
