beedee I am dry starting a 12g Long Iwagumi (see the link in my signature).

Your plants look nice, but your hardscape needs to be reworked in my opinion. Like others have said, a larger rock would go a long way in taking this scape to the next level. you have great growth, now get that to coincide with some good rock work and BAM!!!

Give me the gumi

I am working on an Iwagumi currently.

I think you should consider grouping the rocks closer together.
Maybe see what the big rock looks like turned on it's left side.
And possibly put the repens behind the big rock.
I think DHG would help also.

Look at some Iwagumi setups.

freph Tank looks great, but I do agree with the height in the back needed comment. Maybe some hairgrass or stems? Btw, with the S. repens, exercising good maintenance principles by trimming it down when it gets taller will make it grow back in healthier and denser. You can see the effect of this in plantbrain's 180g thread.

stevenjohn21 I liked the old background, but once the plants grow in the black background will be much better .

abhishekls Here is an update on the plants.
Did not do many changes, just moved the snubias to the back.
Tried to play along with the rocks, but did not look right so left them as is.

abhishekls Thank You for your comments people.

I know the rock placement is not very appropriate, but I could not get more rocks and this what I could do.

In the image its not very clear, so I will try get a closeup and post the pics.

The foreground plant used is staurogyne for low maintainence.

Gafi what are those foreground plants btw....I tried my iwagumi with HC only and my diatom algae outbreak melted it all
