I have Tangerines and Blue Velvets together and their two colors compliment each other quite nicely.

acitydweller I have loads for anyone who wishes to try. I'm going to start washing the funk infested tanks outside and see how far I get before dark... Also have to test these air pumps.. Anyone needing one, send me a pm and I'll bring to the meet.

"Water Lettuce, aka Pistia stratiotes, is not high on the edibles list, but it is edible after cooking, usually boiling. In times of famine it has been consumed in India, China and Africa. More specifically it was recorded as consumed during the Indian famine of 1877/78, in the Sudan during famines and that the Chinese eat young cooked leaves."

cant eat it raw though... too baddd

aokashi nothing in the jar other than plants. this is my emmersed tank

oh and I'll be happy to win the next batch of water lettuce at the auction for your salad cravings

acitydweller do this with a larger tank, for the safety of the livestock. wild swings and spikes will surely have high collateral damage. High full spectrum light will also be a necessity as well as ferts.
