Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, John and his friend Sally both spotted a dalmatian inside of a truck with sirens. The animal with John and Sally is a _ _ _?

jamypac I was in CTE Aquatics this past Wednesday (2/25/15), and they had a fairly decent stock of freshwater fish. They said that they're going to start getting plants in too. They had some willow moss for sale at $9 a bunch, but I didn't buy any (even though I'm looking for some) because the tank it was in had both snails and duck weed. They also had some big Amazon swords for sale, and they had some other plants that weren't for sale because they're trying to propagate them (water wisteria, some vals, and I think the other one was dwarf saggitaria).

chrisplants I have purchased a few items from them recently, and was totally happy. They are doing an expansion currently to better serve freshwater, and planted tank hobbyists.

Steve001 While looking for a new tank I checked out their website and stopped by the store. I found out they have just started to carry freshwater fish.

Steve001 I got an email the other day from them stating they will be exclusively saltwater now. In my opinion that's a bad move because now I have no reason to spend my money there and I suspect others know the same.

AquaMD The LFS scene in MD sucks now. In the mid 90's we had some of the best stores around but they have all now closed. CTE in timonuim is the rebirth of Exotic Aquatics. Best store left in baltimore area is http://www.houseoftropicals.net

TFP is only about an hour drive from Baltimore - http://www.thatpetplace.com/

PlantedGuest It seems as if they stocked freshwater for a VERY short time, and then decided to discontinue it and stick with saltwater only. . . bummer.

We REALLY need a decent LFS *sigh*

Ganyon Can't wait to go when the freshwater is in.

Len B I stoped by on Saturday to check this store out. Like they said only salt water now. It is a warehouse with tanks in it and not to much inventory or supplies. Kind of reminds me of that show Tanked when they go to the fish supply store and pick out the fish, just tanks and no gravel. I will have to go back next month when they get the fresh water in.
As for prices I don't know what salt water fish cost to compare , tanks were clean and the fish were very healthy.
I wish them well and hope they do good.

fishboy199413 Yeah Exotic Aquatics was my favorite store even though I had only been going there 4 or 5 months before they closed. It was a lot like one of my other favorite stores called Scales Tropical Fish Warehouse which closed down a few years ago. Maryland has always had better stores but now there are a lot less good stores making it hard to find decent fish.

kruzerman I've been waiting for this place to open. After Exotic Aquatics closed, I have been going to HOT when I have the extra time for a trip but it has been mostly petco and petsmart for for me. Timonium is much easier for me to get to than Glen Burnie.

Silky let us know if it ends up being a decent store. Too far to drive unless its worth it.

chicken I'd thought they were just going to do saltwater, but I see on their facebook page that they will be doing freshwater as well. I can't wait for them to open!
