robxc80 Nemo's has some good apisto stock right now. A little pricey.

Nijsenni: 50/pair
Panduro: 45/Pair
Macmasteri: 55/pair
Trifasciata: 45/pair
Steindachneri: 40/pair

Was TEMPTED. But kinda pricey. I believe they get it from Atlantis in NY.

Fishies_in_Philly I caught stripers smaller than van's sae last year. Of course, they were babies, but still......lol

This one is at least 5" and over 1" thick. Algae? This one doesn't know what that is. S/He fight with my discus over freeze dried blackworm. This one slowly ate my entire population of amanos growing up. I think it was eating my baby ABN as well.

Fishies_in_Philly I have a bucket he can live in. Ain't no way he's going near any of my shrimp! Lol seriously though, he can be a boarder in my 125 for a while if need be. Only thing left in there is bottom feeders, kribs and rams.

Haha...I'm sure Bill would love to come home to all his shrimp gone with the SAE chasing nibbling on their remains. I understand how large vals get, but the height on the 40 cube is much better than say...my 30 long at only 16inches. I think I'm gonna start the cube off the right way and dirt it. I already have mineralized dirt ready to go. If I really wanted to do it right I would get some potash and clay too.

I gotta make a stand for the 40 cube jimmy gave me. It's gonna be awesome! Thinking about just letting that tank be tons and tons of vals. The height on would let me grow to their full potential.

discusonly Mine are F1 so these would be F2. I am not sure if they are mature enough yet. I only had them for a little over 2 years. I forgot how old they where when I got them.

Fishies_in_Philly I have my fingers crossed for you as well. They don't have a very high percentage on breeding in captivity. Please keep me updated.

I am keeping my fingers crossed. I was not happy to find a dead L46 in one of the cave last week. Pleco are known to be brutal to their mate when spawning. I have one of my ABN male that I can't put any female in the same tank. He managed to kill a few already.

So being dissapointed that I lost one of the L46, I was a bit surprised to find 2 L46 in the same cave this morning and one does have the shape of a female. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

And it's even bigger since the last time you saw it.

Bill, I think 2 of the L46 are pairing up in a cave.
