Dina-Angel Alright. I think they will be ok, only have 7 in there right now and would get a handful amanos then. Will wait until they have new plants, might find something nice for the shrimptank. Just got some crypt balansae and one other plants I already forgot the name

somewhatshocked "Ghost Shrimp" is sort of a collective way to refer to several different kinds of shrimp. Some can complete the reproduction cycle in freshwater, some can't. Some will attack and eat other shrimp, some won't.

The only way to know is to try, honestly.

Dina-Angel Ok, then I know where to find them. Do you know if they get along with the ghosts? Would Luke to put them in my 55. And they were 2 bucks a piece, which is a good price I think? And sorry for off topic

somewhatshocked There's no set time. I'll try to post on the forum the next time Matt places an order.

Yep, they're likely Amano.

Dina-Angel Is there a certain time when they get them? I was there on Saturday and all I saw were 4 sad plants in a tank, nothing else? And they sell algae eating shrimps, which are the amanos, or? They were no ghost shrimp for sure

somewhatshocked If you're near downtown, the Feeders on Baxter Avenue will often have a better plant selection. Your best bet (it will be cheaper - including shipping) is to buy from other members here on the forum.
