lochaber store bought or collected from the wild?

Before doing the bleach, I'd soak it for a couple days to a week, doing at least daily water changes, depending on how discolored the water looks. This should help cut down on how much tannins leech into your tank initially. -or from beach collected driftwood, it should remove most of the salt.

I don't know that the bleach soak is necessary, and I'd probably use a more dilute solution. also do another freshwater soak with some sort of dechlorinator after the bleaching.

If possible, just boil the DW for a few hours, changing the water as it colors up.

i think it is 1 part bleach 4 parts water soak over night then rinse and let dry

am i right
